Holiday Gift Ideas

It’s a stressful, yet exciting time of year. The holidays are right around the corner, and you’re planning the best gifts for your favourite people during the long awaited winter season. Whether you celebrate Christmas, Hanukah, Kwanza, or no holiday at all, there’s always a good reason to treat yourself while you’re looking for gifts for your loved ones. Finally, what would the holiday season be without some awesome gift cards? I know for me, sometimes I just forget that the holiday season is even here and run myself slightly too close to going giftless. Well – here are my favourite gift cards, so if you find yourself in a rut, look no further.

• Mezza Notte – although not a gluten free restaurant, they’re overly accommodating for all sorts of allergies! For me, I am a sucker for their gluten free Penne Salmone. Yes – noodles are cooked separately, make sure to specify that. As well – their salads are out of this world!! This is for sure one of my favourite treats, and a restaurant worthy of purchasing a gift card for a friend or loved one.
• Starbucks – ok who could go wrong? Coffee, tea, desserts, and more! When asked what my go-to is at Starbucks, you’ll often catch me in the summertime with Iced Green Tea, and in the winter either with a Peach Hot Tea or sometimes being a little crazy and ordering an Iced Green Tea. My food of choice at Starbucks is the Marshmallow Dream Bar, the occasional Kind bars, or Justin’s Peanut Butter Cups… YUM! So many awesome GF options that you can’t go wrong with. 
• Almond Butterfly – Did you even know they had gift cards? Well – get on that! EVERYTHING at Almond Butterfly is gluten free. They have bagels, cupcakes, desserts, you name it, and they’ve got it!
• Fresh – YUM, YUM, YUM! Although not entirely gluten free, they’re very knowledgeable and accommodating. So – this is another gift card choice of mine
